I had a wild dream and I want to write it down before I wake up too much.

In my dream I was Nadia and I walking down a really long, red hall with hundreds of doors in it, but for some reason I was compelled to reach the end where a very large brass door stood,  I kept walking down this hall that felt more like a tunnel the further I went, when I hear children singing. I stopped for a minute cause the sound frightened and surprised me but something made me keep going. Curiosity maybe? god only knows.

Once I got to the end of the hall where the door was I could see a red light through the crease and pressed my hand across it to it to open it.

For a moment, I thought I was standing in a great hall, but in all reality it was a small room, with blood red carpets, walls encased in mirrors. Dead roses covered the floor - threaded around two rows of small children playing various instruments. They where dressed in what seemed to be a Catholic school uniform and didn't seem to notice my entry and played on.

The smallest child on the end of the row closest to the door motioned to me to come sit with them so I walked slowly over to the children and sat just in the middle of two girls with large white bows in they're hair. The girls continued to play, but as they did, I noticed a large, hooded woman sitting in what seemed to be another room inside the mirror. She was dressed in red and black, with long, flowing golden hair, a silver crown fastened at her forehead.

At her neck she wore a flowing silk scarf that had been pinned back with a large pendant of two resting cats. Her eyes seemed to have been scarred badly and remained blank and colorless, and what seemed to be tattoos of thorns covered her face and shoulders that where revealed through her robe. I couldn't help but stare at her wondering if she could see me as well - and very much hoping that she couldn't. For a moment I believed she was a painting or possibly a statue of some kind, then the face inside the mirror smiled.

The girls all let out a shrill cry as the woman reached out from within the mirror with one large scarred hand, flailing it about in what seemed be attempts to catch hold of one of the children, she finally managed to capture one small, screaming child by the collar of her shirt, picking her from the floor and out of the room into the mirror as the girl let out a shrill cry of pain. A horrid darkness was beginning to creep down her body, her eyes opened in pain and tears to reveal catlike pupils and she let out a insane laugh as the woman released her, crashing back too the floor to join the other children who now seemed to be overwhelmed with terror.

All the children where changing into horrible beasts now, all I could think about was dying here with whatever these abominations called themselves. Horror filled my heart and that made it hard to breath. For a moment I was frozen in place but my fear turned into shock and worry as I turned and ran out the door and down the red hall once more,  approaching a stone door with a griffin symbol on it that I hadn't noticed on my way in. looking back to see the freaks not far behind me I opened the large door and plunged outside.

I was in the jungle. Rain hit me hard from the darkness and I could hear the cries of many familiar creatures. I searched for a place to run, and being a lizard and all, I could see much better than a human could in these conditions but I knew it was midnight and I was hoping and praying those beasts who where following me couldn't see as well as I could.

I took of running from my place at the door, I didn't really know where I was running to and didn't honestly care for the time being, I just kept running. I was nearing a waterfall when some large creature jumped in my way and I ran into it, knocking myself to the ground.  It was Tazil, I wanted to yell at him for scaring me but I was too glad to see him, so decided just to be glad instead.  He picked me up and started walking, to where I didn't know, but with my hand on his chest I could feel his heavy breathing and realized he was extremely excited and I wasn't about to ask why.

I wanted to warn about the strange creatures that where following me but couldn't find the words and it all sounded a bit too crazy and just convinced myself it was a dream so I just kept silent as he walked on.

We came across what looked like a old abandoned medical building, it was made of stone and many plants where making a home on its walls. A large red cross covered the entrance. As he was taking me into the entrance of the building I looked up to see 3 huge windows, each with a stray cat in it, they seemed to be staring at me like they just seen the joker or something so I ignored them, hoping I was just imagining things.

Once we reached the door, he walked in and sat me down on a cold steel table just inside. Then turning from me he busted the handle off the door with his fist and gave me a evil, piercing look. I knew what that look meant. It meant "don't even try". Then his attentions turned from me to a large wardrobe in the corner, he lunged for it tearing the doors off it with much force and throwing them out a nearby window busting the little remaining glass from it, allowing more rain to pour through onto the cold stone floor.

Checking to see what he was doing I noticed the wardrobe was filled to the brim with tiny viles of a dark red liquid. He took one in each hand, wolfing it down like a starving animal and tossing the tiny glass bottles into a pile at his feet until there was none left then gave me a confused look - like he didn't understand what he was doing. I hesitated for a moment then said, "Are you ok?" His expression changed from confused to sickened and angry as he turned around and struck his face painfully off the corner of the wall, slowly sliding down to the floor with a loud crash.

He sat there still for a moment. I figured he had knocked himself out. But I was too scared to ask him or even point out my existence once more. I made my way over to him and patted him on the back. He let out a growl when I asked, "You gonna be alright?" He spun around and grabbed me by the wrist and said "It wont hurt much I swear. I'm freaking starving."

A stay cat scurried past us and Tazil reached his fist out and crushed it, then pulling its lifeless body from the floor - He devoured it in one bite. I struggled to get free from his grip and managed to slip away. I turned to run, but he got me by the fin of my foot and I fell, busting my face on the hard floor. He let out a growl of anger and bit me hard on the ankle. I broke free of his grasp and started limping toward the door, with one claw he spun me around and pinned me on that cold metal table again, he bent over putting his face in mine and said "You know better then that" I could tolerate it no more.
I kicked him in the stomach hard as I could, but with his armor, he felt nothing.

I went to bite his arm but he bit my face first, he took one heavy claw and plowed it through my skin just above the collarbone. "You're crazy!... You can't eat me! LET ME GO" I said - horrified, tears running down my face from the pain. He lunged for me and I saw his eyes become blank, face covering in those same ungodly scars I'd seen on the cloaked woman. He bit me hard across my neck, I felt my own blood, pain, then
nothing
but darkness....
Then I woke up :XD:

This is a really wild dream I had that I woke up thinking "WTF? :O" xDDDD I guess these creatures are like vampires or something? I dont know but it about gave me a heart attack.
Tazil is cool but I dun wanna be bitten.

I finally had time to sit down and get to read this. That's a very vivid dream, the level of detail is impressive and must have made it very creepy to experience. From the way it sounds at the end, with the guy you knew and trusted ending up killing you; it makes it sound as if you were having second thoughts on trusting someone you were friends with around the time of the dream. Maybe subconsciously you felt they were something different than they appeared to be, or had different intentions than they showed you, so to speak. As far as the rest of it, I'm not sure. Perhaps the kids represented life and the creatures represented death. Could be a reminder of a traumatic event if you ever had a bad experience as a child yourself, maybe representing when you were first hurt. Running away from something in dreams is usually a sign of not being able to face something in your waking life, if I remember correctly. Which does kind of tie in with the first bit about not trusting someone at the time. But I don't want to sit here and sound like a derp and wrongly analyze it. |D I used to look up what different things in dreams meant because I have wild nightmares often. But anyway it was a scary yet kind of cool dream at the same time.
